We cannot show you client logos yet. So here is the whole method instead.

Delko is new. Every agency page you have ever read solves that problem with stock photos and invented numbers. We would rather publish exactly what we check, in what order, and why, and let you judge the thinking. If you read this and go do it yourself, fair enough.

(The review, measured)

40 checks, in six groups.

This is the measured half of the free review. Not a summary of it, the actual list. Your report scores each of these and ranks the failures by what they are costing you. The other four are one of us opening your site and reading it the way a buyer comparing three firms would. No tool scores positioning or design honestly, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.

AI visibility

07

Many customers ask an AI assistant before they open a map. The assistant gives the names of two or three businesses.

  • The number of answers that give the name of your business, in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, and Google AI Overviews
  • The names of the competitors that the assistant gives in place of your business, and the number of times it gives each one
  • The accuracy of the description that the assistant gives of your services
  • The towns that the assistant connects to your business
  • The web pages that the assistant uses as sources when it recommends your category
  • The permission that your website gives to AI crawler software, and the condition of the pages that software reads
  • The differences between the facts on your website and the facts about you on other websites

Entity and structured data

07

A search engine and an AI assistant must identify you as one business. Most local websites show them more than one version of the facts.

  • The LocalBusiness schema on your website is present, valid, and complete
  • The Service schema and the FAQ schema are on the pages that need them
  • The name, the address, and the telephone number are the same in every source
  • The organization data identifies one business and not several businesses
  • The knowledge panel is present, and the data in it is correct
  • The internal links show the relation between each service and each area
  • The sitemap and the index data agree with the pages that are on the website

Google Business Profile and Maps

07

The map gives three results at the top of the page. Those three results get most of the telephone calls.

  • The primary category and the secondary categories agree with the categories that rank in your market
  • The service list is complete, and Google does not have to estimate it
  • The service area is correct for your type of business
  • The number of photographs, the date of each one, and the location data in each one
  • The number of posts that you made in the last 90 days
  • The questions that customers asked, and the answers that you gave
  • The map position at many points in your service area, and not at one point

Website and conversion

07

You can win the search and then lose the customer on the page. That failure costs more than the other failures in this list.

  • The time that your page needs to load on a telephone, on a usual network
  • The Core Web Vitals scores, compared to the values that Google accepts
  • The first screen tells the customer what you do and where you do it
  • The telephone number is on the first screen, and the customer can touch it to make a call
  • The number of steps that a customer must complete to contact you or to request a price
  • A page is present for each service that you sell
  • A page is present for each town that you serve

Reviews and validation

06

The number of reviews changes your rank, and it also changes what a customer believes. An AI assistant reads it as proof that you are a real business.

  • The number of reviews and the rating, compared to your three nearest competitors
  • The date of each review, because an old review has less effect than owners expect
  • The number of reviews that you answered, and the quality of each answer
  • The system sends a request for a review to the customer after each job
  • Your business is present on the industry websites that customers use to compare your category
  • Other websites give the name of your business, and not only the directory websites

Tracking and attribution

06

If you do not measure the results, you must decide your budget from opinion. Opinion is usually wrong.

  • The analytics software is installed, it sends data, and it does not count an event two times
  • Each conversion event records a real lead, and not a movement of the page
  • The call tracking system records the telephone number that customers call
  • Each form that a customer sends records the source of that customer
  • Google Search Console is connected, and it shows no errors
  • You have one number for the cost of each lead
And Four We Read By Hand

No tool scores positioning or design honestly.

The other four are one of us opening your site and reading it the way a buyer comparing three firms would. No tool scores positioning or design honestly, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. It is the half that takes the longest and the half that decides whether the other 40 checks are worth fixing.

Positioning

Whether a stranger can tell in ten seconds who you are for and how you differ.

Messaging

Whether the copy makes an argument or lists services and hopes.

Design

Visual direction, typography, hierarchy, imagery, and what year the site reads as.

User journey

The real path from arrival to inquiry, on a phone, counted in clicks.

(The output)

Ranked by what it is costing you.

A list of everything wrong with your marketing is not useful. Everyone already suspects the list. What is missing is the order. So the report gives you the measurement, what each failure costs, and the fix, sorted by impact rather than by what is easiest for us to sell.

  • Time to understand the offer> 10s

A stranger cannot tell what you specialise in or who you are for, so you get compared on price instead of on work.

HighRewrite the homepage argument so the first screen answers who it is for and why you.

  • Paths to contact1

One form, at the bottom of one page. A buyer who is ready on a service page has to go hunting.

MediumContact matched to intent on every page, with the lead routed into a CRM that follows up.

  • AI mention rate0 / 5

Five assistants asked for a recommendation in your town. None of them said your name.

HighAdd schema, fix your entity data, and build the citations assistants read.

  • Google review strength11

The competitor down the road has ninety. Customers compare before they call.

HighAutomate a review request after every job and reply to every review.

(Sequence)

The first 90 days, in order.

Most agencies open with a website rebuild because it is the biggest invoice. It is rarely the biggest problem. Here is what we do instead.

  1. Days 1 to 14

Measure and fix what is free

Baseline the AI mention rate and map position. Complete the Google profile, correct the citations, and turn the review system on. None of this needs a new website and all of it moves.

  2. Days 15 to 45

    Make the business legible

Schema, entity consistency, and the service and location pages that do not exist yet. This is the work that decides whether an assistant can cite you at all.

  3. Days 46 to 75

    Fix the page that closes

Speed, mobile layout, and contact paths on the pages carrying the most traffic. Attention you already earned stops leaking.

  4. Days 76 to 90

    Buy the gap

With tracking in place and the site converting, paid search and paid social have something worth pointing at. Re-measure the baseline from day one and compare.

(Principles)

Four rules that decide every call.

Diagnose before we scope

We do not sell a rebuild to everyone. We review what is actually costing you, and when the site turns out to be the problem, we rebuild the whole system rather than five pages.

Free before paid

Your Google profile costs nothing and outranks work we could bill you for. Inside a project it still goes first.

Legible before loud

No amount of content helps if a model cannot work out what your business is. Structure precedes volume.

Measure before spend

Ads run after tracking, never before. Otherwise you are buying a number nobody can read.

Say what will not work

Some channels do not pay for themselves in a market this size. We tell you which ones before you fund them.
